DAY 19 : Today we’re fasting simply from the thought: “Some day.” “Some day” I’m going to live my dream. “Some day” I’m going to succeed. “Some day” I’m going to overcome this problem…

Time to stop dreaming and start doing…

1. Think ACTION. Procrastination is the promise of fools. The moment we say, “I’ll start tomorrow”—we are defeated. The secret of winning is action.

2. Discover the difference between the baker and the cupbearer. Genesis 40:1-23 (Both had dreams that Joseph interpreted.)

3. NOTICE: the baker had a basket on his head (his hope was only in his head). He died.

4. Stop dreaming, start serving. The cupbearer had a cup in his hand. He took action and served—He was promoted. Matthew 20:28 says, “The greatest among you is the servant of all.” A servant pushes everyone up around him.

5. Those who KNOW GOD, DO. (Daniel 11:32) Work on knowing God. Don’t get to know religion and ritual. Get to know God. It will produce action in your life.

6. WORK begins in your mind. People that are lazy in life, are first mentally lazy. Stop day-dreaming, and start day-building. See yourself doing, in your mind. And you will DO in life. John 13:17 says, “If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them. James 1:22 says, “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers…”

7. Believe in the power of action. Action is the antidote to despair and sadness. Elijah broke free from despair when he rose and took action. (1 Kings 19:4-14)

8. Work with what God gave you. Psalm 118:24 says, “THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE”…Maximize it! Do one thing, at least right now, toward a great goal in your life. If you don’t have one, make that your one thing, now.

THINK IT & SAY IT:
I have the secret of winning—action. My hope is not just in my head, its in my hands. As I serve others, I will experience my dreams. I know my God, and I do exploits. I am blessed, because I am a doer. I will maximize this day because its the one God made—I will seize it, in Jesus’ Name.
